The wonders of Peppermint oil!

Known as a digestive stimulant, decongestant, and muscle relaxant, Peppermint oil is one of the most versatile of essential oils to be incorporated in your daily life. One drop of Young Living's therapeutic grade Peppermint Oil is equivalent to 28 cups of peppermint tea! This is one of the reasons that makes Peppermint Oil so popular! It is highly concentrated and extremely powerful and effective.

Studies have shown that inhaling peppermint oil increases mental accuracy. It is a powerful pick-me-up and improves clarity. This is a refreshing oil to diffuse in the morning or place 1 drop in a cup of a hot tea.

Some of the things that Peppermint is best known for helping are stomach aches, nausea, fever, and headaches. For digestive complaints, we usually drink 1 to 2 drops of Peppermint in a tall glass of water, as well as dilute several drops with some Coconut or Olive oil and rub it gently over our stomach. I find it incredibly calming when I am experiencing something uncomfortable like nausea or digestive pain. It is also known for helping with certain headaches by diluting with Coconut or Olive oil (one drop of Peppermint to 4 drops of carrier oil of choice) and rubbing over your left and right temples, over sinuses (away from the eyes),behind the neck and at the base, and the crown of the head. Sometimes, drinking a drop of this oil in a glass of water also helps ease headache discomforts.

For fever, you can dilute this oil with a carrier oil and rub it on the bottoms of feet and over chest and back.

It can also be uses to deter rodents, ants, and cockroaches by placing a couple drops of Peppermint on a cotton ball and putting the cotton ball at entry points for these pests.

For arthritis and tendinitis pain, mix 4 drops of Peppermint in a teaspoon of carrier oil and rub on the joints of discomfort.

Peppermint oil is also helpful for bad breath and dental health. You can create your own mouth wash with distilled or purified water in a 32 oz glass bottle and 15 drops of Peppermint oil. This is something I love doing in my home because I never liked those store bought mouth wash blends. They didn't leave a natural taste in my mouth the way that this homemade mouthwash with Peppermint does.

It also can be uses to relieve sore feet by mixing 5 drops of Peppermint oil in a 1/2 cups of dead sea salts or epsom salts and placing them in a foot-bath.

You can use Young Living essential oil as flavoring in baking, cooking, and in drinks.

Remember, purity is everything. I only recommend that one take Peppermint internally if it is from Young Living. Many essential oils are on the market today are adulterated and cut with solvents and synthetics. Young Living carefully monitors their essential oil process from the moment they plant the seed, to the harvesting, distillery, the lab, and to the moment it is sealed and packaged for shipping. Their integrity in essential oil quality is out-matched in the industry.

For a complete list of Peppermint oil uses, refer to the list of 29 uses below.

Everyday cleaning recipes with Young Living Essential Oils...

For all those natural, DIY-loving homemakers out there, I have assembled a summarized list of affordable and easy recipes for creating your own products for cleaning the home - from the kitchen to the bathroom! One of the wonders of essential oil-infused cleaning products is their highly concentrated antibacterial and antiviral properties. Some of the most effective EOs to use for every day cleaning use are Lavender, Clove, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil) and Citrus oils such as Lemon and Lime.

Purification Bathroom Air Freshener
Place 1/8 tsp of epsom salt at bottom of 2 ounce amber/blue glass spray bottle. Put 15 - 18 drops of Purification over the epsom salt and let it soak in. Then, fill the bottle with purified or distilled water to the top. Shake and use.
This air freshener cuts through odors without a perfume-y, synthetic fragrance. It makes your bathroom smell very uplifting after a few sprays.

The Young Living Purification blend contains Citronella, lemongrass, Rosemary, Melaleuca, Lavandin, and Myrtle.

 Citrus Vinegar Cleaner

Fill a quart size jar full of leftover citrus peels. Pour white vinegar up to the top. Add 5-8 drops of each essential oil. Let mixture sit in a cool, dark place for a couple weeks. Remove citrus peels and pour vinegar cleaner into a glass spray bottle for cleaning counter-tops in the bathroom and kitchen.

I used Orange and Grapefruit in this blend, but I have also used Young Living's Citrus Fresh blend and Lemon. Their citrus oils are the most affordable, ranging from $10 - $16, which is why they are so *perfect* to use for every day cleaning.

Oily Tip of the Day: What to Do If You Get Essential Oils in Your Eyes

Here is a simple and effective tip to remember for those who accidentally rub essential oils into the eyes!

Since essential oils and water do not mix, you need a substance that is safe to use in your eyes and that will quickly emulsify the essential oil, allowing water to quickly flush it all away. Use anything with fat in it, which will dilute the oil.

The answer is milk, butter, or cream.

Quickly flush the eye with milk or cream until it stops burning. This should happen almost immediately. At that point, you can flush the eyes with fresh water to remove the milk.

This is helpful to remember especially when using EOs around children who may accidentally rub some into their eyes or face area.

Essential Oils and Emotional Healing for Stress, Anxiety, & Depression

{guest post written by Stacy Mcdonald}

Did you know that scent can powerfully affect our emotions? Out of all five senses, our sense of smell is the only one directly linked to the limbic system in the brain, our emotional control center. What this means is that scent can impact not just emotion, but the body’s physical response to it. Mood matters.

When our nose detects a scent, it means that tiny molecules have evaporated from an object and entered the nose. Since an essential oil is volatile (it evaporates at room temperature), its molecules literally leap into the air! When we inhale essential oils (or anything else), their molecules are channeled through our nostrils sending messages to the olfactory system through receptors. The receptors in turn transfer the information they receive from these molecules to the brain. This results in the “sense of smell.”
olfactory
The olfactory bulb, which is part of the limbic system, captures information through the sense of smell, helping to record a memory. That’s why you can walk into an antique store and have flashbacks of your grandma’s house; or smell a certain perfume and it reminds you of someone. Because of this, and the healing nature of essential oils, there are some who believe that essential oils are extremely helpful in dealing with traumatic memories or post-traumatic stress disorder.
In 1989 researchers agreed that the amygdala—one of several structures in the cerebral cortex—plays a major role in storing and releasing emotional trauma and that aromas have a profound affect on triggering those responses.
Joseph Ledoux, M.D., of the New York Medical University [and author of The Emotional Brain] was one of the first to suggest that the use of aroma could be a major breakthrough in helping to release hidden and suppressed feeling and memories of emotional bondage.
Since the limbic system is directly connected to the parts of the brain that control heart rate, digestion, blood pressure, breathing, stress levels, sexual arousal, and hormone balance, the use of therapeutic grade essential oils in aromatherapy can have profound physiological and psychological effects on our physical and emotional well-being.
olfactorybulb
What happens when you’re stressed? There is an actual, measurable, physical response to it. Stress and anxiety are known to sap our energy, affect our skin, aggravate our muscles and nerves, disrupt digestion, affect our sleep, and make us more prone to illness and disease. So, the stress-related health issue you’ve been dealing with isn’t “all in your head.” But what is in your head, along with essential oils, may help you deal with it!
Therapeutic grade essential oils may offer a powerful and safe form of therapy for emotional healing without the dangerous side effects of anti-anxiety and anti-depressant medications.

~ Stacy M.

In addition to using essential oils, remember to give your body other "tools" that it needs to aid in the healing and restorative process:
  • Get consistent amounts of sleep!
  • Increase your intake of water daily.
  • Get plenty of sunshine.
  • Eat a balanced diet.
  • Avoid processed foods, dyes, white flour/sugar, MSG.
  • Detoxify your home
  • Have your hormone levels checked.
  • Increase your intake of Probiotics, Vitamin D, C, and an assortment of B Vitamins, as well as essential minerals like Magnesium.
  • Never underestimate the company and fellowship and company of supportive and positive friends and family members.

I only use Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils because of their high purity. Many essential oils on the market today are adulterated and are not put through a Seed to Seal process that Young Living lives by. I highly recommend these essential oils for their outstanding purity and also because, simply put, they really work. I began my journey over two years ago with Young Living EOs and have never looked back. They are remarkable!

To get started using therapeutic grade essential oils for you and your family, I recommend purchasing the Premium Starter Kit! You can begin enjoying wholesale prices AND a large selection of essential oils at the same time. This is a great way to begin incorporating the most versatile essential oils into your daily life. I also personally gift you with an essential oil when you become a wholesale customer under me. It's my way of saying "thank you!" and supporting you in building your own natural medicine cabinet.

15 Things to Know When You First Begin Using Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils…

These are 15  helpful facts to keep in mind in using Young Living essential oils. I recommend you read over this list to equip yourself with the knowledge in how best to use your oils for you and your family.

1. YL oils labeled as “supplements” are able to be used internally. Peppermint is probably the most useful oil on the planet. Always make sure you have enough.

2. If you ever need to dilute an essential oil because of sensitive skin, and you don’t have a carrier oil available, do not use water! Use anything that contains fat, such as full fat yogurt, butter, full fat milk or cream. It’s the ‘fat’ that dilutes your essential oils.

3.  Reach every cell in your body within 21 minutes when applied topically to the body

4. Never use essential oils in plastic cups or items. The essential oils attack the toxins in plastics and cause it to erode. Use glass or stainless steel when using essential oils in your drinks.

5. Essential oils that may require a carrier oil for topical use: PanAway, Peppermint, Basil, any of the Eucalyptus, any of the citrus (Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit, Tangerine, Bergamot*), Myrrh, Myrtle, and Melissa.
Essential oils that should (almost) always be diluted with a carrier oil for topical use: Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Wintergreen, Oregano, Thyme, Lemongrass, Black Pepper, Patchouli, Mountain Savory, Nutmeg, Marjoram, Balsam Fir, Coriander, Cypress, Galbanum, Pine, Ravensara, Ocotea. Again, key word is almost.

6. “Neat” means undiluted

7. Diffusing essential oils (with a cold-air diffuser) alleviates stress, cleanses and purifies the air from airborne bacteria, and creates a pleasant atmosphere in the home.

8. The Essential Rewards program is THE most cost effective way to earn points for free oils and build your medicine cabinet.

9. Good “carrier oils” are: sweet almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, or jojoba oil.

10. Peace and Calming blend is the very best oil blend for little ones (as well as adults) for a good night’s sleep. Diffuse and apply topically!

11. How to afford essential oils – (Balance your budget by transfer buying, give the gift of health, earn free products & get discount shipping, make your own Personal Care Products and Household cleaners, Refer a Friend – message me to learn more)

12. When using Essential Oils in a spray bottle adding a pinch of Epsom salt. Essential oils have a tendency to clog up the mechanism in spray bottles because they don’t mix well with water and will float on top, failing to disperse. Putting the oil on the Epsom salt will cause the oil to adhere to the salt and disperse as the oil dissolves. This will help prevent your spray bottle from becoming clogged. So the next time you are making air freshener, "perfume" spray, or bug repellant, give this tip a try. In addition, the same goes for those who want to use essential oils in a bath. Use Epsom Salt or Dead Sea Salts to disperse the oils beforehand.

13. There are approximately 250 drops in a 15 ml bottle of essential oil

14. Never get essential oils directly in your eyes. If you do, use olive oil on the bone around the eye to dissipate the oil. Flushing the eye with water will just spread the oil and not bring relief.

15.  Phototoxicity is a chemically induced skin irritation from UV ray-exposed areas of the skin after using essential oils containing furans (furanoids). The skins response resembles exaggerated sunburn and in some people, it can leave permanent marks of darkened skin. Furanoids are compounds that act like prisms that amplify UV light. In nature they are found in leaves, seeds of plants, and most commonly the rinds of fruit to help them ripen. When you apply an essential oil containing furanoids to your skin and then go out into direct sunlight, use a tanning bed, or receive radiation treatments, your skin can burn which sometimes leaves permanent patches of dark color on your skin’s pigmentation called phototoxicity.

• Only oils containing enough furanoid compounds are considered phototoxic
• You will not burn if you ingest essential oil or take orally, so go ahead and add them to your drink on a hot summer day
• Using a carrier oil to dilute phototoxic oils does not protect against phototoxicity
• You cannot wash them off to avoid phototoxicity; they are already absorbed into the skin.
• Cover all areas of skin where you have applied phototoxic oils before going into the sun, only UV exposed areas will burn.
• Wait up to 12 HOURS after applying phototoxic oils to the skin before exposing to sunlight, UV radiation from tanning beds, or receiving radiation treatments. It is recommended to apply phototoxic oils topically in the evening before going to bed to allow adequate time before UV exposure.

Therapeutic Grade & The Four P's

Therapeutic-Grade Standard

Gary Young discussing healing with a native healer/shamanGary Young established the term “therapeutic-grade,” now known as Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ (YLTG), as a guarantee that Young Living will only sell 100% pure, natural, uncut, unadulterated essential oils that maintain the vital therapeutic potency.
As Gary traveled the world studying the distillation of pure essential oils, he saw wide discrepancies in quality and learned that in order to ensure purity and potency, expert and rigorous analysis of finished essential oils was critical.
Today, using gas chromatography (GC) and mass spectrometry (MS) analysis, the phytochemical profile of every batch of Young Living essential oils is measured to evaluate each specific plant compound. Certain plant compounds must meet or exceed specific levels to ensure the essential oil is natural, pure, and therapeutic-grade. Only then does Young Living guarantee the oil will provide the desired results and label it Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ (YLTG).

Young Living essential oils are:

  • 100% pure
  • Sourced only from known botanical species
  • Sustainably grown and harvested
  • Grown on chemical-free farmlands in carefully nourished soil (organic)
  • Unmatched throughout the essential oils industry
  • So pure and natural, they're used and recommended by integrative health professionals around the world
Young Living: The Seed To Seal™ Process

Strict attention to detail—from the seeds sown to the plants harvested—ensures that the oils you obtain from Young Living are the purest, most potent essential oils available. This precise, detailed method is known as the Seed to Seal process.

Seed
Potent essential oils come from plant species that have been authenticated by Young Living experts. Species certification involves scientific research, field study, university partnerships, and on-site planting certification.
Cultivate
Through cultivation on the four Young Living farms, Young Living Essential Oils has mastered the creation of pure, potent essential oils. The company takes this knowledge around the world to co-op farms to certify that these farms’ growing processes meet Young Living’s strict quality standards.
Distill
Young Living’s proprietary low-temperature, low-pressure steam distillation process ensures that the beneficial plant compounds in every batch of essential oil remain uncompromised during the extraction process.
Test
Each essential oil must pass Young Living’s stringent testing to ensure the optimal bioactive natural compounds are present. Young Living uses its own internal labs, in addition to third-party audits, to verify that international purity and potency standards are met and surpassed.
Seal
Young Living completes the Seed to Seal process by carefully sealing each bottle of essential oil before shipping them to members worldwide.

Below is a video of the Young Living Seed to Seal process that guarantees us the best quality essential oils.

With Therapeutic Grade essential oils you can inhale, apply or ingest most of them
From the beginning, Gary Young's commitment has remained unchanged: to offer the finest natural essential oils and pure aromatherapy products that enhance well being and wellness of body, mind and spirit. Gary Young’s commitment to understanding the remarkable therapeutic power of plants has resulted in the world’s largest line of essential oils and blends. Gary has traveled the globe discovering how to best support both physical health and emotional wellness. His discoveries have helped hundreds of thousands of people experience the benefits of natural healing and have led to the creation of the world’s largest and foremost authority on essential oils sciences: Young Living Essential Oils.
Whether from the Young Living Farms in the United States, France or Ecuador - these farms provide an ongoing source for pure and natural essential oils that are in critically short supply around the world.
Gary Young in a field of LavenderThe process Young Living uses when planting, cultivating, harvesting, and distilling a batch of essential oil is crucial to retaining its vital compounds. Without the exact blend of naturally-occurring plant chemicals, an essential oil can lose its beneficial properties and fail to produce the desired effect.
Young Living Therapeutic Grade (YLTG) means that every essential oil Young Living distills or sources has the optimal naturally-occurring blend of constituents to maximize the desired effect. Young Living is able to make this assertion because of our strict cultivation process—illustrated by the Four Ps—that guarantees the optimal potency of every Young Living essential oil.

The Young Living Promise: Plants - Preparation - Purity - Potency

Plants

An oil's potency can be affected not only by selecting the proper plant to cultivate, but also by where the plant is grown, the quality of soil in which the seed is planted, and even the time of day it's harvested.
Young Living has extensive experience selecting the correct species of plant for desired oil potency, planting under optimal conditions, using ideal soil and natural methods to encourage growth, and knowing the precise time to harvest each crop. Only those plants that produce the most active and widest array of therapeutic compounds are selected.
Young Living Greenhouse
Young Living has over 70,000 sq.ft. of
greenhouse space for starting plants

Preparation

Once the optimal soil, plant, cultivation, and harvesting conditions have been adhered to, the plants must be distilled properly in order to meet YLTG standards. Young Living uses a gentle, proprietary technique for steam-extracting the most potent essential oils, which remains unmatched throughout the essential oils industry.
To meet YLTG distillation standards proper temperature must be maintained throughout the distillation process, and pressure, length of time, equipment, and batch size are strictly monitored.

Purity

YLTG standards prohibit the acceptance of any diluted, cut or adulterated oils. Every product Young Living produces—essential oils, oil blends, nutritional supplements, or personal care—meets strict purity standards.
Every batch of essential oils is subjected to rigorous, state-of-the-art analysis at the Young Living chemistry lab. Using some of the most advanced equipment in the world, our scientists subject every batch of essential oils to Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer testing, and heavy metals analysis. Oils that exhibit even the slightest hint of possible adulteration or tampering are rejected.

Potency

Purification and Thieves are two of Young Living Essential Oils premier blendsThe culmination of the preceding three stages, Potency means that the naturally occurring compounds contained in each essential oil product are of the highest and most consistent bioactive levels. Without strict adherence to the YLTG standard in the Plant, Preparation, and Purity phases, the final product would not have the necessary potency to create the desired effect.

Why essential oil diffusers should be a staple in every home...

Aria™ Ultrasonic Diffuser & TheraPro Premium Diffuser

Diffusing oils alter the structure of molecules that create odors, rather than just masking them. They also increase oxygen availability, produce negative ions, and release natural ozone. Many essential oils such as lemongrass, orange grapefruit, melaleuca (alternifolia - tea tree), eucalyptus ( E. globolus), lavender, frankincense, and lemon, along with essential oil blends (Purification, Melrose, and Thieves), are extremely effective for eliminating and destroying airborne germs and bacteria.
A cold-air diffuser is designed to atomize a micro-fine mist of essential oils into the air, where they can remain suspended for several hours. Unlike aroma lamps or candles, a diffuser disperses essential oils without heating or burning, which can render the oil therapeutically less beneficial and even create toxic compounds. Research shows that cold-air diffusing certain oils may:

~ Reduce bacteria, fungus, mold, and unpleasant odors
~ Relax the body, relieve tension, and clear the mind
~ Help with weight management
~ Improve concentration, alertness, and mental clarity
~ Stimulate neurotransmitters
~ Stimulate secretion of endorphins
~ Stimulate growth hormone production and receptivity
~ Improve the secretion of IgA antibodies that fight candida
~ Improve digestive function
~ Improve hormonal balance
~ Relieve headaches
(Pg 35, Essential Oils Pocket Reference)

University researchers in Japan found that diffusing certain aromas in an office environment dramatically improved mental accuracy and concentration. Diffused lemon resulted in 54 percent fewer errors, jasmine 33 percent fewer errors, and lavender 20 percent fewer errors. When aromas were diffused during test taking, scores increased by as much as 50 percent.
(pg 78, Essential Oils Pocket Reference)

Research by Jean Valnet, MD, showed that vaporized lemon oil can kill meningococcus bacteria in 15 minutes, typhoid bacilli in one hour, Staphylococcus aureus in two hours, and Pneumococcus bacteria within three hours. Even a 0.2% solution of lemon oil can kill diphtheria bacteria in 20 minutes and inactivate tuberculosis bacteria.

Diffusing is one of my favorite things. I would love to leave my diffusers running all day long because they are so pleasant and relaxing. Also, I love the satisfaction in knowing that what I'm putting into the air is pure and healthy. While I love burning candles, I quickly gave that up when I found out about their synthetic ingredients. The same for all types of air sprays that are filled with harsh chemicals! For those who suffer with asthma and respiratory problems, diffusing essential oils is the best and most healing route. I have become more committed to diffusing in every area of the home the more that I have learned about synthetic ingredients and chemicals in home/air products today. It's always lovely to step into a room with a diffuser that is running and the mist spilling out. It is naturally relaxing. Some of my favorite oils to diffuse from YL are Wintergreen, Lavender, Citrus Fresh, & Thieves.

One of the most rewarding benefits of becoming a member of Young Living is that the Home Diffuser is now offered in the enrollment kits! So, you can begin your own journey savoring the benefits of diffusing essential oils when becoming a wholesale customer.

When I first became a member, I decided to invest in their most expensive diffuser - The Aria Ultrasonic. It was worth every penny! A year later, I am still enjoying it (and I even named it - Kirby - because every inanimate object needs a personality and a name! ha!) and I have used it at many social gatherings and parties. And, it has been highly benefical for my family during the harsh flu/cold season that hit this past winter. Thieves, Wintergreen, and R.C. were constantly in use! Recently, I purchased the Home Diffuser for more practical, everyday use and it has certainly been a favorite of my husband's since we got married this past February.

Below, I have listed pictures and information of the Young Living diffusers available for purchase.

I want to others to experience the joy and wellness that I and my loved ones have received from investing in these products. I truly believe every home should have one or two of these diffusers around, especially for those with children, pets, elderly, or those struggling with respiratory issues and allergies.
If you are interested in learning more about any of these products from Young Living please e-mail with your questions and thoughts at ancientessentials@yahoo.com. I want to help and be there for you in any way that I am able to!

Lavender ~ Its history, uses, and how I used it for my wedding

 Lavender.
It has been known as the "Swiss Army Knife" of essential oils. Versatile and fragrant, Lavender is well-loved by many. Its amazing healing properties were first "discovered" by René-Maurice Gattefossé, French chemist and scholar. Born in Montchat near Lyon in 1881, René-Maurice Gattefossé is regarded as the Father of Aromatherapy and inventor of the word itself. In 1910 he discovered the virtues of the essential oil of lavender.

Gattefosse was working in the laboratories of the cosmetics firm owned and named after his family (of which he was to become head, and which is still in business today). He badly burned his hand during an experiment and plunged his hand into the nearest tub of liquid which just happened to be lavender essential oil. He was later amazed at how quickly his burn healed and with very little scarring. This started a fascination with essential oils and inspired him to experiment with them during the First World War on soldiers in the military hospitals. He used oils of lavender, thyme, lemon and clove for their antiseptic properties. Gattefosse noted an increase in the rate of healing in wounds treated with essential oils and that the oils seemed to be free from the disadvantages present with other antiseptic agents in use at that time.

*Note: These uses are for Young Living's Lavender only. Young Living is pure therapeutic grade, which is the reason why you can take it internally. Other kinds of Lavender oil are not for internal use and, therefore, not pure or safe.

Much of the lavender oil on the market today is actually a hybrid called lavandin. It is adulterated with synthetic linalyl acetate and solvents, like propylene glycol, DEP, or DOP, are added to it to increase volume. It also contains high levels of camphor (12-18 percent) and can itself burn the skin. This is in stark contrast to true lavender which has virtually no camphor and has natural burn-healing agents to restore damaged skin. Most consumers don't know the difference and are happy to buy adulterated lavender for $7 to $10 per ounce in stores...(Essential Oils Pocket Reference, pg 22-23).

Young Living Lavender essential oil is grown on a 1600 acre farm in Mona, Utah and distilled on site in one of the world's largest privately owned oil distilleries. It is safe for all ages, infants included.

Young Living also offers a variety of Lavender-infused products for the bath and body care. Soap, lotion, shower gel, shampoo, mist, and lip balm! Below, I have posted a small review on a few of these products.

Lavender was my color and flower of choice at my February wedding.
The meaning of the Lavender flower is purity and devotion, which are two significant words for my relationship with my dear husband.

I had been using Young Living's Lavender Volume Shampoo the week leading up to my wedding and absolutely loved it! I can personally testify that it works wonderfully for any hair-type. The aroma of it is so deep and pleasing (it really fills up your shower with its scent!), and it really works wonders for dry scalp! One bottle lasted a whole month for me, which is fabulous considering my length of hair! I also use the Lavender Lip Balm on almost a daily basis and I have never tried a lip balm that moisturizes as well as this one. It leaves me with wanting to use more (I'm not big on lip balms, but this made me change my mind!). On the day of my wedding, I used YL's Lavender Bath and Body Lotion along with the Lavender Essential Oil all over myself. I received so comments from my guests about how lovely I smelled, which was funny. The lotion is so thick that you don't even need to use a lot of it. It makes your skin feel absolutely luscious! To me, these products are absolutely a must-have, whether you are planning a lavender-themed event or not. ;-) The quality of YL's Lavender-infused products is undeniable. I would recommend these to anyone time and time again.
